Getting to Nottingham:

Nottingham is easily accessed by train from different locations around the country.

The Beeston train station is very convenient in accessing the campus.

Depending on where you are travelling from coach options can also be available.

Venue location:

AMPRAW 2015 will be held in the University of Nottingham’s Park Campus in the Humanities Building, near the campus’ West Entrance (number 55 on the campus map, which can be found here: )

The Humanities Building is within walking distance from the Beeston train station (aprox. 20 mins), but there are also trams and buses running between the Nottingham city centre and the campus (for example the Indigo from Broadmarsh Bus station and no. Y36/36/N36 from Victoria Centre stop very close to the West Entrance).

There are a few accommodation options in the Beeston and Wollaton areas, like the Wollaton Travelodge and some B&Bs like Hylands and the Star Inn. There is also the Orchard Hotel, which can be found in the University Park Campus. In Nottingham city centre there is a large variety of options including: Holiday Inn, Jurys Inn, Travelodge, etc.
